This blend of 85% Refosco, 10% Merlot and 5% Piccola Nera takes its name from the birthplace of Rado Kocjančič. The harvest is entirely manual with selection in the vineyard. The grapes are gently de-stemmed and macerated on the skins for about 15 days. The varieties are vinified separately and assembled before bottling. Maturation for 2 years in used tonneau. Aromas of red fruits and great freshness. Vitality and acidic notes on the palate, which however are smoothed by winemaking, aging and the presence of the Piccola Nera, a variety historically present in this area used precisely for this function.
